Peace-In Practice™ (PIP™)
Turning Inner Peace into Strength for Everyday Life
Peace-In Practice™ (PIP™) is a meditation education program being developed by Intuit Best Friend Foundation. It aims to help children and families facing financial hardship cultivate inner stability and carry that stability into everyday choices, learning, and action.
Inner Stability
PIP aims to help participants cultivate inner steadiness amid difficult circumstances, creating space to consider their needs and next steps.
Everyday Practice
We are shaping the program around practice that participants can carry into daily life, connecting learning with meaningful choices and actions.
Children & Families
Our educational approach considers both children and caregivers, recognizing their different needs and the importance of family life.
Open to All Beliefs
PIP draws on the founder’s interpretation and practice of Prajñāpāramitā. Participation does not require religious belief or observance.
Choice & Dignity
We respect each participant’s pace, choices, and personal boundaries. Our approach does not require a particular feeling, belief, or personal disclosure.
Toward Self-Reliance
We aim to help participants build an inner foundation for learning, seeking support, and taking practical steps toward greater independence.
Understanding PIP

PIP grew out of our founder’s search for a way to continue living and acting through prolonged fear and isolation.
Through a personal reading and interpretation of the Heart Sutra and direct practice of Prajñāpāramitā, the founder experienced a change in how she responded to fear. This became a source of inner stability and strength to move forward.
IBFF is developing that experience into a structured educational program that others can learn and practice, without requiring religious belief.
Learning with Children and Caregivers
IBFF is preparing PIP education primarily for children and families facing financial hardship in the United States.
The program is being developed with attention to the different needs of children and adults. Our goal is to help both children and caregivers build a foundation for caring for themselves and bringing what they learn into family life.
Participation will be guided by respect for each person’s choices, circumstances, and pace.

From Inner Stability to Everyday Action
PIP aims to connect inner stability with the practical demands of daily life: making choices, continuing to learn, asking for help, and preparing for the future.
We recognize that financial hardship also requires practical resources and opportunities. Our educational role is to help participants develop an inner foundation for engaging with those opportunities and taking steps toward greater self-reliance.
